EU Regulation 2016/679: Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 – Rights of the Data Subject

  1. The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation of whether or not personal data concerning them exists, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in an intelligible form and the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
  2. The data subject has the right to obtain information about:

  3. The data subject has the right to obtain:
    a) the update, correction, or, when in their interest, the integration of data;
    b) the erasure, transformation into an anonymous form, or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data for which storage is not necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or subsequently processed;
    c) the certification that the operations referred to in points a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to those to whom the data was communicated or disclosed unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared to the right being protected;
    d) data portability.
