The white-colored model FATO-LXS-FLT is used to delineate the perimeter of the FATO (Final Approach and Take-Off) area, intended for the approach and departure of aircraft during landing or takeoff. It can be circular, square, or, less commonly, have other shapes. Inside the FATO area, the height profile of aeronautical equipment must be less than 250mm.
